One of the hardest parts of being in the Army 🇺🇸 is meeting and working with great people, and then having to move.. during my time at my first reserve unit, I had the opportunity to be a squad leader of these amazing Soldiers (swipe twice) and see them grow and become better Soldiers each and every drill. I also had the opportunity to work along side other great NCOs and learn from them. This unit has made me grow not only as a Soldier and an NCO, but as a person and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. ⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️ Now it’s time to take a big leap in my career, going from an 88M (heavy vehicle operator) 🚛 to a 42A (human resources specialist) 📑 and work for that E6💪🏼 nervous but excited for this next stepping stone in my Army career!🙌🏼 Ft. Knox, here I come! ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️ #army #soldier #usarmy #military #shecandoboth #femalesoldier #nco #columbus #ohio #fortknox #kentucky #camo #blessed #greatful #move #change #growth #growing #future #new #bigthings #leader #life #newbeginnings

Just wing it; life, eyeliner, everything 🖤 ◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️ It’s great to set goals in life and to work towards them but I’ve learned that God’s plan for our lives are WAY greater than we could imagine. So keep grinding and being the boss warriors you all are but if things don’t go as planned, don’t worry, just wing it🙌🏼 ◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️ “Trust in the lord with all your heart; In all your ways, acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight” — this verse has gotten me thru a lot, maybe it can help you guys as well♥️🙌🏼 ◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️◽️ 📸 photo by @the_one_eyed_man 🙌🏼 ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️ #wingit #quote #model #modeling #photography #photooftheday #igmodel #publishedmodel #smile #brunette #babe #beautiful #militaryfitness #fitinspo #fashion #inspiration #motivation #bibleverse #happy #alum #alumcreek #ohio #columbus #pants #tank #longhair #beach #girlpower #femalemodel

Despite the journey into motherhood being a beautiful and amazing experience, there is a lot to be missed especially if you lived a really active lifestyle without limitations. You can still stay active while pregnant, but you do have to limit yourself. No matter who you are or what you’re capable of. It’s a fact. That’s something I’ve really struggled with. Whether it’s been doing yard work all day and regretting it at night because my joints and back are so sore, realizing I can’t do a certain workout or lift as heavy because it could hurt me or the baby, or if it’s not being able to fly after telling my flight surgeon I’m pregnant. I could have kept flying if I wanted to. I could have kept flying until 28 weeks, but with the nature of my job (breathing in jet exhaust, touching hydraulic fluid, oil, fuel, the potential risk of a fire, hypoxia, heat exhaustion, etc.) I stopped flying at 8 weeks. Nothing is more important to me than my baby and keeping him safe and healthy. That doesn’t mean I’m not itching to get back in the saddle, because I most definitely am. I miss getting my hands dirty, sweating my ass off, moving cargo all day, black smudges across my face, being so incredibly exhausted, the mind numbing roar of engines for hours on end, smelling like jet exhaust at the end of the day. I miss all the things I thought I hated. I miss it all every day and look forward to the day I’ll fly again. ✈️🇺🇸

Hey Sunshines ☀️ — Just wanted to give you all a little life update since I really haven’t done that in SO long! Things are going great here in San Diego! I’ve just reached my 5.5yr mark in the Navy, which means I only have 6 months left, including terminal leave! ONLY SIX MONTHS! I don’t fly anymore, but do plan on doing one last flight in the COD, as a little goodbye to a plane that took me on so many adventures around the world. Dean and I have been doing lots of planning and preparing to get ready for me separating in November. This week, I had my first meeting with my realtors to talk about when the best time to sell our house will be. We’re still trying to decide on a timeline, but I’m thinking it’s going to be earlier than we expected! We are currently looking at places to move next in San Diego, one possibly being military housing. But right now, we are undecided. We only have a month left until we’re taking a trip to Miami and I am SO excited! This will be Alonso’s & my second time to Miami. We’re going there to visit with family, and meet our newest niece who is coming very soon! We also have a Memorial Day Weekend trip planned to go out and stay in a cute little cabin in the mountains! It’s pet friendly, so Cali will be coming too! I am SOOOO excited for this little retreat! Alonso is 11 months old now, soooo yup! My baby boy will be turning 1 year old in only 1 month!!! So crazy! He took his first steps by himself last Sunday, but isn’t quite walking yet. He will be VERY soon though. Thank you all for the constant love and support. I love being surrounded by such a positive, encouraging community! ❤️ . . . . . . . . . #lifeupdate #busymom #ourlittlefamily #carselfie #blondehair #memorialdayweekendtrip #miamitrip #goingtomiami #11montholdbaby #11monthspostpartum #boymom #bossmom #bossbabe #usnavy #sandiego #sandiegomom #sandiegoyoutuber #youtuber #aspiringyoutuber #6monthsleft #makingmoves #movingsoon #sellingourhouse #movingoutsoon #bittersweet #militaryhousing #familyretreat #cabinretreat #cabingetaway #happymomma

This is a very old #selfiesaturday but most people won’t bother reading this bio to know that anyway😉 I’ve been out of the Marines for a year and a half now. Some days I miss it, other days I relish in the fact that duty isn’t knocking on my door in the middle of the night to come stand duty next😂 My MOS was 5811 aka Military Police. I really wish I’d lived more in the moment through my enlistment and held onto more pictures. It was such a wild ride that was very much a massive part of who I am today. #semperfi to all my brothers and sisters both past and present🇺🇸 After I posted this picture people started telling me I look like @amberheard • #marines#throwback#selfie#military#veteran#wook#texas#vet#usmc#fitness#health#inspiration
